Job summary

Optum Insight is seeking an Info Security Engineer to protect healthcare data in a remote role. You will deploy DLP across healthcare clients, contribute to insider threat program development, and drive security operations efficiency using AI tools.

You will collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, HR, Compliance, and IT to monitor data movement, exfiltration risks, and insider behavior, delivering reports and supporting audits. The role emphasizes threat analytics and incident response readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cybersecurity, information security, or security operations experience.
• 1+ years administering or monitoring DLP platforms (e.g., Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, Netskope).
• 1+ years analyzing security logs using SIEM, CASB, or UBA tools.
• 1+ years incident investigations with collection and preservation of digital evidence.
• Experience using automation, AI analytics, or scripting to streamline security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy DLP across healthcare clients and contribute to insider threat program development.
• Monitor, triage alerts from DLP, UEBA, CASB, SIEM, and endpoints for anomalies.
• Investigate insider threats and data leakage with proper evidence handling.
• Correlate information across platforms and document timelines and remediations.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, HR, Compliance, Privacy, and IT teams.
• Tune DLP policies and alert thresholds to reduce false positives.
• Analyze telemetry, develop baselines, and participate in threat hunting.
• Prepare investigation reports, executive summaries, and client dashboards.
• Use enterprise AI tools to automate tasks and improve workflows.
• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design.
