Staffvirtual, Inc. is seeking a Billing Representative for remote work to support the complete revenue cycle in a dermatology-focused practice.

You will ensure accurate claims submission, monitor holds, and drive accounts receivable toward resolution, with close collaboration with practice staff and external revenue cycle partners. The role emphasizes attention to detail, follow-through, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, payer requirements, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior medical billing, revenue cycle, or insurance claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and billing principles.
• Ability to independently research and resolve billing issues.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review claims for completeness, edits, demographics, modifiers, and submission errors.
• Monitor claim holds and work queues; research and correct issues for resubmission.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims; prioritize aging balances to prevent revenue loss.
• Identify denial patterns and work with providers to obtain necessary documentation.
• Maintain billing notes, communicate with payers, and support A/R metrics and audits.
• Support dermatology billing and stay current on CPT/ICD-10 coding requirements.
