ConnectOS is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure for real‑time insights. You will own end‑to‑end data pipelines, warehouse models in Snowflake, and governance practices using RBAC.

The role emphasizes modern data stack tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran, with Python and SQL as core skills. A strong ownership mindset and ability to work across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven track record in designing and maintaining data pipelines and warehouses.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake (advanced SQL, data modeling, performance tuning).
• dbt (data modeling, testing, transformations).
• ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran or similar).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience implementing data quality frameworks and validation checks.
• Strong understanding of data security and RBAC.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data tools.
• Develop robust data transformations using Python and SQL.
• Integrate and manage data ingestion using tools such as Fivetran or similar.
• Implement data validation, testing, and quality frameworks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance.
• Design and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions (Snowflake).
• Build and manage dbt models (staging, intermediate, marts).
• Develop scalable data models and schemas aligned with business requirements.
• Maintain data documentation, lineage, and governance practices.
• Implement and manage RBAC and data security controls.
• Build and manage scalable data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS).
• Contribute to infrastructure design for reliable data systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and IaC where applicable.
