Job summary

ConnectOS in Metro Manila is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, security, and compliance, and support project delivery across teams. You will write clean SQL and Python, implement DBT tests, perform unit testing and UAT, review code, and collaborate with architects, analysts and data scientists to deliver data solutions on Snowflake within AWS.

The role offers hybrid work (2-3 days onsite weekly), competitive compensation, day-one

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Experience building data pipelines and data models in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DBT and data quality checks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and models.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Support project delivery and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines.
• Contribute to platform improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with modern data engineering tools and practices.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Write clean, modular, and performant SQL and Python code.
