MicroSourcing is hiring a Data Engineer in the Philippines for a remote, day-shift role. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes, ensure data quality, and assist customers with ETL issues across Australasia. Strong SQL, Python, and data warehousing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL with experience in relational databases (preferably MySQL).
• Strong Python scripting and ETL/process development experience.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Good written and verbal communication for customer collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
• Support customer implementations and troubleshoot database and data-related issues.
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Assist customers in debugging ETL issues, especially in Australasia region.
• Write Python scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand data requirements.
