Job summary

Capitole is seeking a Cloud Security Architect/Engineer to join a long-term international project in the automotive sector, focusing on designing and securing cloud solutions across large-scale environments. This remote role offers a flexible schedule and a chance to collaborate with global teams.

You will assess security postures, work with CNAPP tools, automate security tasks, and contribute to governance and strategy initiatives, all within a globally distributed delivery model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, architecture and governance.
• Experience with CNAPP platforms, preferably Wiz or similar solutions.
• Broad security knowledge covering cloud, infrastructure and enterprise environments.
• Hands-on scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar.
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting complex technical environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and support secure cloud architectures across public cloud platforms.
• Assess cloud security posture and identify risks and remediation opportunities.
• Work with CNAPP solutions to strengthen security visibility and control.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for security incidents and infrastructure-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to implement security best practices.
• Participate in security reviews, architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational and security-related activities.
• Contribute to cloud governance and security strategy initiatives.
