DysrupIT Pty is seeking a Python backend engineer to build and operate cloud-based data platform services on Google Cloud. You will develop reliable Python services, manage Firestore configurations, and generate business outputs including Excel reports.

Strong testing, type checking, and security practices are expected as you collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders. You will deploy on GCP, leverage Terraform for infrastructure, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, with hybrid/remote work

Competenze

• 3+ years of Python backend or data engineering experience.
• Experience with Firestore, BigQuery, Cloud Run/Storage.
• Proficient with Terraform, CI/CD, and IAM least privilege.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain Python services and APIs using pydantic and FastAPI.
• Develop and manage configuration data in Firestore, including transactions and versioned documents.
• Build and maintain processes that sync Firestore data to BigQuery.
• Generate formatted Excel outputs and reports using openpyxl.
• Deploy and operate services on Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and scheduled jobs.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Configure IAM roles and least-privilege service accounts.
• Write tests and maintain code quality with type checking and linting.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across services, integrations, and deployments.
