Job summary

RWS is seeking contributors for a Cebuano speech data collection project to support evaluation and development of AI technologies. The freelance, remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to work on spontaneous speech tasks that help train speech recognition systems.

You will record natural speech, annotate data, and provide metadata in real-life contexts such as workplace conversations or casual discussions. Strong Cebuano and English skills, plus attention to detail, are required.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Cebuano.
• Advanced English to understand written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with project guidelines.
• Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual one-on-one discussions.
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided.
• Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording.
