Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a CabinetVision CAD Drafter to support the design and manufacturing team in a part-time remote role.

You will transform preliminary kitchen and cabinetry designs into detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and technical documents, leveraging CabinetVision and CNC workflows. Strong reading of architectural drawings and attention to detail are essential, with independent work and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Advanced/strong CabinetVision experience with more than one year using CabinetVision.
• Deep knowledge of custom cabinetry, millwork, and woodworking methods.
• Experience creating shop drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with CNC manufacturing workflows and panel processing.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and design specs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with good English communication.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote/in-house teams.
• Experience in kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review preliminary CabinetVision designs and design intent from sales/design teams.
• Develop fabrication-ready shop drawings and technical construction documents.
• Generate accurate cut lists, material requirements, hardware schedules, and production specs.
• Configure cabinet construction methods, joinery, materials, and manufacturing parameters in CabinetVision.
• Produce CNC-ready output and machining data when required.
• Verify dimensions, clearances, and construction details for accuracy and manufacturability.
• Identify design conflicts and communicate recommendations to the team.
• Maintain consistency with company construction standards and processes.
• Collaborate with the Shop Foreman to ensure drawings reflect production requirements.
