Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Senior Building Automation Service Specialist to support our Canton, MA operations, serving customers across the greater Boston area. The role focuses on maintenance, on-call service, and project support for building automation systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer training.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in building automation maintenance, familiarity with BACnet/Modbus/TCP-IP, and the ability to work overtime and on-call.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics of building automation systems.
• Open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP Ethernet and networking.
• Engineering concepts, programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Work with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
• Maintain tools and test equipment and complete service ticket documentation per policy.
• Provide instructions to customer personnel and assist with training on system operations.
• Identify system discrepancies and report upgrade opportunities; assist in pricing repairs and upgrades.
• Perform system checkout and startup on projects; participate in final walkthroughs and turnover.
