Femia Accountants, a Perth-based CPA practice with teams in the Philippines, seeks an Accountant specializing in Australian tax to work from home. You will handle tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, and prepare financial statements with supporting workpapers.

Role requires full-time Australian tax experience, strong English, Xero proficiency, and a private quiet workspace. Work hours align with Perth time, in the Philippines time zone, with no night shifts.

Qualifications

• BSA is mandatory; transcripts or diploma required with application.
• Full-time Australian tax experience in roles focusing on tax, not bookkeeping.
• 2–4 years in full-time tax roles on companies and trusts.
• Xero certification preferred and required within three months if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Australian income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals.
• Prepare financial statements with workpapers.
• Handle FBT, STP finalisations, BAS and IAS.
• Process tasks from source documents through to review independently.
• Use Xero and Karbon daily per firm procedures.
