Job summary

TaskUs is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses for analytics infrastructure. You will ensure accurate data delivery to BI reporting and support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities include building data integration processes, implementing ETL jobs, and collaborating with business stakeholders to refine data requirements. The role requires 2+ years in data engineering, Python, Kafka, and cloud-based data solutions.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
Proficient with Python, Apache Kafka, AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS S3, and Pentaho Data Integration.
Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts including star/snowflake schemas.
2+ years hands-on with ETL tools such as Pentaho, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Fivetran or Airflow.
Experience with cloud-based analytics on AWS or GCP preferred.
Knowledge of streaming pipelines (Kafka/Spark) and ETL tuning.
Experience with Python in cloud environments and NoSQL databases.
Awareness of AI tools is a plus.
Able to work across internal teams in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

Configure and deploy data movement solutions from operational/external sources to BI environments.
Manage data integration and ETL jobs with quality checks and scheduling.
Design and optimize data models per business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
Perform unit and integration testing of data models and pipelines.
Conduct peer reviews, assist with testing, and maintain documentation.
