Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an Application Security Engineer to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across our software applications. You will foster a culture of security and ensure protection is integrated into the SDLC.

You will perform secure code reviews, run SAST/DAST, coach developers on OWASP standards, and integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines. This 100% remote role offers USD compensation and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Application Security or related fields.
• Proven expertise with SAST and DAST tools.
• Strong secure code review skills and OWASP practices.
• Experience coaching developers on secure coding.
• Understanding of SDLC and security automation.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform secure code reviews and architectural assessments.
• Manage SAST/DAST to detect vulnerabilities.
• Guide developers on secure coding practices and OWASP.
• Design automated security tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering to remediate findings.
