Job summary

KIRA is seeking a senior product leader to own a complex fintech product in a global remote team. You will shape strategy, backlog, and measurable outcomes across money movement, compliance, and AI-enabled features.

You will balance technical rigor with regulatory realities, define elegant trade-offs, and collaborate with Engineering, Compliance and Finance to deliver safe, scalable solutions. This role is remote and globally distributed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end.
• Strong judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
• Ability to balance ambition with technical, regulatory and operational realities.

Responsibilities

• Own a vertical end-to-end outcome; manage backlog by value, risk and priority; define crisp acceptance criteria.
• Shape the technical design with engineering: boundaries, money-movement correctness, third-party rails, and security.
• Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability and UX; defend decisions with stakeholders.
• Treat licensing, KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, and data residency as first-class inputs for product.
• Apply AI thoughtfully: define where it can decide, who stays in the loop, and how it is evaluated.
• Ship behind flags; go live per rail once partner and regulatory gates clear.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance/Reconciliation
