Job summary

My Amazon Guy is seeking a talented AI Engineer to design and build scalable AI agents that integrate into internal workflows. You will work with GPT-4, OpenAI APIs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, interfacing with Slack, Asana, and Gmail to automate tasks. The role emphasizes production-grade AI systems, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Remote position with EST schedule. You will collaborate with .NET backend and Angular frontend developers to embed agents into MAG's

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in AI engineering or backend LLM development.
• Proficiency in Python with frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
• Hands-on with LangChain or OpenAI Function Calling / Assistants API.
• Experience deploying production-grade AI agents or workflows.
• Familiar with vector databases (Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Able to integrate with Slack, Asana, Gmail via APIs/webhooks.
• Understanding of RAG pipelines and reducing hallucinations.
• Systems thinking: scalable, repeatable, testable architecture.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working remotely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable AI agents integrated into internal workflows.
• Leverage GPT-4 and Assistants API for real-time interactions.
• Develop RAG pipelines using internal SOPs and client data.
• Automate actions via Slack, Asana, and Gmail APIs.
• Create REST APIs for internal tools to access AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with backend (.NET) and frontend (Angular) teams.
• Translate SOPs/HTML to formats consumable by AI agents.
• Implement and document function-calling for multi-step tasks.
• Build auditable, reliable AI systems with clear controls.
• Monitor performance and iterate to optimize workflows.
• Stay ahead of AI trends and contribute new tool ideas.
