Job summary

Wing is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our remote finance team. Start immediately and support accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and regional tax compliance across US, EU, AU, and UK regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of accounting experience with regional exposure. Strong English communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience with exposure to US, EU, AU, and/or UK tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliation and reporting.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with US, EU, AU, and UK tax laws.
• Conduct audits and ensure financial statements meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain and update accounting records and systems with accuracy.
• Generate periodic financial reports and budgets to support decision‑making.
• Handle payroll processing with tax compliance and timely disbursements.
• Research regional accounting and tax updates for compliance.
• Support finance team with ad hoc tasks.
