Responsibilities

Business Generalization

1. Plans, organizes, leads and undertakes business generation programs to increase account base and total funds portfolio.
2. Conducts market surveys to identify prospective clients and determine their banking needs.
3. Regularly conducts business calls and presentations to prospective clients, submitting a Call Report of all activities to the Region Business Head.
4. Conducts periodic calls to existing clients to assess their perception of the bank’s products and service quality.
5. Provides guidelines to branch service personnel on relationship management for clients.
6. Formulates and executes strategies to ensure business volume and budget attainment.
7. Evaluates credit worthiness of clients requesting credit accommodations and endorses applications for processing.
8. Utilizes resources from other business units for efficient client base conversion and deposit generation.

Operations and Service Quality

1. Ensures customer requests, suggestions, and complaints are addressed promptly.
2. Co-signs instruments and transaction documents requiring counter-signatures.
3. Coordinates with the Branch Manager to train personnel on bank products and basic selling skills.
4. Ensures the branch maintains a professional image through promotional materials and well-trained personnel.
5. Co-conducts regular branch staff meetings for information dissemination on new products and coordination issues.

Qualifications

• Competence in UBP selling competencies and relationship management.
• Knowledge of UBP products and services.
• Stays informed on banking and financial services industry practices.
