How You Will Contribute
  • Develops and executes overall account strategies for each account under coverage, with the view of maximizing overall returns from the relationship.

  • Solicits credit-worthy accounts by identifying target markets and strategies, ensuring optimal coverage of the identified target market.

  • Based on an evaluation and understanding of customer requirements, the organization's capabilities, industry competition, and the general business environment, drives customized and cohesive product account plans in coordination with bank product partners.

  • Promotes a cross selling mentality by being guided by the entire suite of bank products and services when managing corporate relationships.

  • From a specific account perspective, delivers the mandated profitability metrics and cross-sell ratios while ensuring compliance with bank credit and regulatory policy.

  • Ensures compliance of accounts under coverage with documentation / covenant requirements.

  • Builds and nurtures relationships at various levels of a corporate organization, while maintaining regular dialogue with the decision makers and influencers (i.e. CEO, COO, CFO, Treasury Heads).

  • Prepares and evaluates credit proposals and line renewals in accordance with the established specific account plans and strategies.

  • Constantly analyzes customer's market and financial positions in order to identify specific needs, and/or be aware of warning signals that may affect the customers' credit quality.

  • Maintains a sound and acceptable credit quality of the loan portfolio under coverage.

  • Develops and grows the market share of the bank for both asset and liabilities as well as expands collateral businesses generated from the relationship/s.

  • Mentors Account Specialists on proper account administration and relationship management.

  • Assists in the collection of past due accounts and accounts identified for phase-out; also handles loan restructuring as needed by any account under coverage.

What Will Make You Successful
  • Working knowledge of credit analysis, bank products/services, banking regulations and respective legal documentation, marketing of corporate banking products/services.

  • Bachelor's degree in any business course.

  • At least two (2) years of banking industry experience, specifically in corporate banking.

  • Preferably Mandarin-speaking to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
