A leading bank in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Account Officer to manage loan portfolios and conduct credit evaluations. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in commercial banking. Strong client management skills are essential. Responsibilities include preparing credit memoranda and conducting financial analyses, ensuring the viability of managed accounts.
Manages existing loan portfolio and markets for new loan accounts.
Makes credit evaluations and prepared credit memoranda for approval Presents accounts to approving body.
Screens loan applicants referred by branches by evaluating and analyzing credit worthiness of these accounts.
Recommends for approval credit worthy clients.
Prepares Credit Recommendation and Approval Memorandum (CRAM).
Conducts financial analysis/credit packaging.
Conducts plant visits to check on how the business of the client is doing.
Monitors financial condition/viability of the accounts being handled.
Performs remedial management on potentially problematic accounts.
Updates Center/Sector Head on performance of accounts being handled.
Coordinates with Legal Management Services Sector and Collection, Assets Recovery and Disposal Sector on handling of problematic accounts.
Answers queries, complaints, or requests from borrowing clients.
Attends to ExCom and Loan COMM as needed to present recommendations.
Bachelor's Degree is required
Minimum of 2years experience as an Account Officer or Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking
Knowledgeable in credit evaluation and financial analysis
Strong client management skills
