Job summary

City Savings Bank is seeking a Financial & Regulatory Reporting Officer to oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial and regulatory reports, ensuring PFRS compliance and regulatory requirements. The role also leads the month-end close, supports audits, drives process improvements, and manages a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities include managing the close, reviewing statements, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring governance and internal control standards are met

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in financial regulatory reporting or controllership in banking/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, Philippine accounting standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience in external/internal audits, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and annual financial close and ensure accurate financial and regulatory reporting.
• Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS, applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Oversee general ledger integrity and coordinate with internal stakeholders on financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports while ensuring compliance with government and regulatory agencies.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls, efficiency, and reporting quality.
• Manage, coach, and develop the finance team, including performance management and training.
• Ensure compliance with audit, risk, information security, and corporate governance policies.
• Perform other finance and reporting responsibilities as assigned by the Financial Controller, CFO, or Senior Management.
