Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to advise on compliance and legal issues around our financial features, including consumer credit, payments, and banking products. You’ll structure guidance and draft customer-facing documents, ensuring offerings remain compliant with PSD II and relevant regulations.

You’ll collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to design solutions that meet regulatory requirements, manage regulatory expectations, and engage with local regulators as needed,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in law.
• Strong academic credentials and law-firm experience.
• Experience advising on financial regulation.
• Expertise in consumer credit, PSD II, and banking regulations.
• Ability to make decisions under ambiguity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding structuring of new and existing financial features (consumer credit, payment, banking).
• Drafting customer-facing legal documents for these products.
• Being a part of Product and Commercial teams, working with them to help design and deliver solutions that are compliant with consumer credit legislation and PSD II.
• Helping to expand Revolut’s product offering and managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications.
• Proactively engaging and working with local regulators.

About The Role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term. We’re looking for a Senior Legal Counsel who’ll advise Revolut on compliance and legal issues around our financial features.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding structuring of new and existing financial features (consumer credit, payment, banking)

• Confidence making decisions where there’s ambiguity or incomplete information
