Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, professional, and client-centered nursing care in an aesthetic clinic setting. The role involves assisting and performing authorized aesthetic and wellness procedures within the nurse's qualifications and scope of practice, monitoring clients before, during, and after treatments, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.

The Registered Nurse is also expected to be sales-oriented and customer-focused, capable of educating clients about appropriate treatments, packages, memberships, and available services while maintaining ethical and professional standards. The goal is to provide excellent client care while supporting the clinic's treatment and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

A. Nursing & Aesthetic Treatment Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures and aesthetic treatments that are within the nurse's training, competency, and legal scope of practice.

• Assist doctors and other medical personnel during aesthetic procedures as needed.

• Conduct proper client assessment and obtain relevant medical and treatment history.

• Check and monitor vital signs and observe clients for any adverse reactions.

• Properly prepare treatment rooms, equipment, supplies, and materials before procedures.

• Follow proper infection control, sanitation, sterilization, and safety procedures.

• Provide appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions to clients.

• Monitor clients during and after procedures and promptly report any unusual signs, symptoms, or adverse reactions.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, preparation, and disposal of medical supplies and materials.

• Maintain accurate and complete client treatment records and documentation.

• Immediately report incidents, complications, or concerns to the Branch Manager and/or Medical Director.

B. Client Care & Customer Service

• Provide a warm, professional, and reassuring experience to every client.

• Establish good relationships with clients and understand their aesthetic concerns and treatment goals.

• Explain procedures, treatment processes, expected results, precautions, and aftercare instructions clearly.

• Answer basic client questions regarding treatments while staying within the nurse's professional scope and clinic protocols.

• Maintain client confidentiality and protect all medical and personal information.

• Handle client concerns professionally and coordinate with the Branch Manager or appropriate personnel when escalation is necessary.

• Follow up with clients when required regarding their treatment progress, concerns, or scheduled appointments.

C. Sales & Treatment Recommendation

• Promote the clinic's aesthetic treatments, packages, memberships, and other services in a professional and ethical manner.

• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate treatments based on their concerns, assessment, and approved clinic protocols.

• Explain the benefits, process, and applicable terms of recommended treatments without making false or misleading claims.

• Educate clients about available treatment options and encourage appropriate follow-up sessions when medically and professionally appropriate.

• Assist in converting consultations and inquiries into confirmed treatments or packages.

• Introduce relevant add-on services or complementary treatments when appropriate to the client's needs.

• Meet or contribute to individual and branch sales targets set by management.

• Maintain a customer-oriented approach while achieving sales objectives without being overly aggressive or pressuring clients.

• Build long-term client relationships that encourage repeat visits and treatment retention.

• Coordinate with the Branch Manager and aesthetician/reception team regarding client follow-ups and sales opportunities.

D. Clinic Operations

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the treatment area.

• Check availability and proper condition of medical and aesthetic supplies.

• Assist in monitoring inventory and report shortages or damaged supplies.

• Follow clinic policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and medical protocols.

• Properly use and care for clinic equipment and company property.

• Participate in staff meetings, training, product knowledge sessions, and performance evaluations.

• Assist the clinic team during busy periods when necessary while maintaining professional boundaries and assigned responsibilities.

• Perform other related duties assigned by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license

• Experience in an aesthetic clinic, dermatology clinic, wellness clinic, or related industry is an advantage

• Experience with aesthetic treatments, IV therapy, laser/RF machines, facials, or other aesthetic procedures is an advantage

• IV Therapy/IVT or related certification is an advantage, when required for the position

• Good communication and customer-service skills

• Sales experience or proven ability to recommend and promote services is an advantage

• Willing to undergo clinic training and product/procedure training
