Job summary

Concentrix Philippines is seeking a Registered Medical Technologist to perform comprehensive laboratory tests in hematology, microscopy, and chemistry. You will operate and maintain equipment, ensure accuracy of results, and uphold biosafety standards.

The role requires a PRC license, at least 2 years in a primary lab, and proficiency with LIS and standard software. Independent work ethic and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology.
• Current PRC license as a Registered Medical Technologist (RMT).
• At least 2 years of work experience in a primary laboratory.
• Must have biosafety training and drug test training certification.
• Proficient in clinical laboratory procedures, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Ability to navigate LIS and basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, microscopy, chemistry.
• Executes universal standard precautions in specimen handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy of results.
• Follows established protocols and infection control procedures.
• Conducts regular internal quality control checks on equipment, reagents, consumables, instruments.
• Evaluates test results, flags findings beyond normal range and escalates to healthcare providers.
• Maintains accurate records of tests performed and results obtained.
• Monitors inventory of consumables and reagents and reorder points.
• Monitors preventive maintenance schedules and escalates external service needs.
• Participates in external proficiency testing programs (NEQAS).
