Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Manila seeks a Compliance & AFC AVP to design, implement and enhance regional risk assessment processes across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa. The role emphasizes governance, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement in a matrixed environment.

You will lead country-level risk assessments, guide methodology, and deliver regulator-defensible outputs with strong documentation and collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, anti-financial crime, or risk reporting in financial services.
• Understanding of inherent risk, control effectiveness, residual risk and risk rating concepts.
• Knowledge of AML, sanctions, fraud, bribery and corruption monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate country/entity risk assessments across multiple jurisdictions for Compliance/Anti-Financial Crime risks.
• Guide stakeholders on risk assessment methodology and minimum standards.
• Act as a link between country, regional and global risk assessment teams.
• Facilitate workshops, manage action tracking and documentation.
• Prepare risk assessment reports for senior management and governance forums.
