Job summary

World Health Organization is seeking a Consultant for the Regional Immunization Technical Advisory Group (RITAG) to advance the implementation of the transformed network in the Western Pacific Region. The role is a short-term external consultancy based in Manila, Philippines, with an 11-month duration.

The consultant will establish technical area subgroups, coordinate with Member States, and strengthen NITAG functionality. Proficiency in English is required; travel to countries is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Essential: University degree in medicine, public health or related life-science field.
• Essential: Minimum five years in an immunization programme at international level.
• Essential: Strong skills managing advisory mechanisms or networks.
• Languages: Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Member States to operationalize the transformed RITAG and establish subgroups.
• Strengthen NITAG functionality and capacity in priority countries.
• Organize quarterly RITAG and subgroup meetings and draft technical briefing notes.
