Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician for onsite work in Canlubang, Laguna.

The role covers monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and related systems, with data gathering for preventive maintenance and equipment histories. You will conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, analyze failures, and implement load testing while following SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology or related courses.
• 1 year industrial refrigeration experience.
• Knowledge of compressors, thermal sensors, electrical diagrams, low-voltage signals and P&ID interpretation.
• Experience with ammonia systems, freon systems, HVAC or industrial chillers is an advantage.
• Must have good communication skills, withstand stress, and lift at least 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration, compressed air, power and steam systems.
• Gathers equipment specs and data for preventive maintenance programs and histories.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Conduct corrective maintenance and analyze equipment failures; install mechanical equipment and perform load testing.
• Suggest continuous improvements to maximize production line efficiency.
• Ensure all operating systems are in safe, tip-top condition.
• Prioritize safety for personnel, materials, products, equipment, and tools.

Job description

The RefrigerationTechnician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs of refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, power systems, steam systems, and preventive maintenance activities.

Provides mechanical technical services necessary for the installation of production, utility, and other support equipment.

Gathers equipment specifications such as model, serial number, power rating, etc., and compiles all necessary data that will be used in the preparation of preventive maintenance programs and equipment histories.

Conducts regular preventive and predictive maintenance, including condition monitoring, and prepares graphical presentations for benchmarking and analysis.

Performs corrective maintenance, technical analysis of equipment failures, installation of mechanical equipment, and executes load testing, ensuring compliance with company rules, SOPs, and maintenance program enhancements.

Implements and/or provides suggestions for continuous improvement of equipment in the production line to achieve maximum efficiency.

Ensures that all operating systems are in tip-top operating condition.

Prioritizes safety in their area, ensuring the safety of personnel, materials, products, equipment, tools, and other company properties to prevent Lost Time Accidents.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related courses.
• Must have 1 year industrial refrigeration experience.
• Knowledgeable in compressors, thermal sensors, electrical diagrams, electronic low-voltage signals, and P&ID interpretation.
• Experience with ammonia systems, freon systems, HVAC systems, or industrial chillers is an advantage.
• Must possess good communication skills, a high level of stress tolerance, and the ability to lift at least 20kg.
• Must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna (Full Onsite).
