As a Trade Lifecycle Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in reference data setup and coordination with other business lines will ensure seamless trade processing on our platforms. You will leverage your broad knowledge of trade lifecycle principles and practices to propose and implement improvements to our current working methods. Your role will involve diverse activities requiring analysis and judgement within defined boundaries, and you will often be responsible for guiding the work of others. Your proficiency in listening and questioning, internal stakeholder management, presentation skills, process improvement, and automation will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to develop your data and tech literacy skills while working with us.

Job responsibilities
  • Perform asset setup, recertification, and related activities
  • Perform client account setup and related activities
  • Perform callbacks of SSIs to Transfer Agents/ Fund Administrators
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within required SLAs and escalate issues to the immediate manager
  • Assist in daily monitoring of requests received
  • Work closely with offshore partners to provide seamless delivery of required tasks
  • Maintain Weekly and Monthly Metrics Reports to management and stakeholders and lead the governance meetings with stakeholders
  • Update SOPs and ensure compliance with controls
  • Work with manager to identify and execute process streamlining opportunities
  • Work on various BAU Projects assigned from time to time & ensure timely completion of projects
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in Banking operations or Financial Services Operations
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proactive and can work independently with minimum supervision
  • Effective time management, flexible and able to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
  • Ability to coordinate the activities of other areas for department deliverables accurately and on time
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multitask, and bring tasks to complete closure
  • Understanding of Custody Business and Custody Processing
  • Demonstrate good collaboration with peers
  • Adaptability: maintaining standards and adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, or requirement
  • Commitment to providing high standards of daily operations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Prior custody/treasury operation services, markets operational experience.
  • Understanding of financial instruments such as Mutual funds, hedge funds, equities and bonds and trade lifecycle
  • Self-starter, ability to learn quickly, strong leadership skills with focus to mitigate risks and taking proactive approach to ensure “Best in Class” results.
  • Experienced on process improvement
