Job summary

Sun Life is seeking a skilled Penetration Testing Analyst to perform hands-on security testing of applications, infrastructure, and systems. This role focuses on penetration testing delivery with secondary exposure to Red Team activities and adversary simulation exercises.

You will work with a security-focused team to identify, exploit, and report vulnerabilities, contributing to remediation strategies and security hardening across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on web app security testing (OWASP Top 10).
• API security testing and basic network/infrastructure testing experience.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with clear risk articulation.

Responsibilities

• Perform web, API, mobile, and infrastructure penetration testing across enterprise applications.
• Identify, exploit, and validate security vulnerabilities using manual testing techniques and industry tools.
• Conduct testing in line with established methodologies and security frameworks (e.g., OWASP).
• Produce reports outlining vulnerabilities, root cause, business impact, risk rating, and remediation steps.
• Support Red Team activities and adversary simulation efforts when required.
