Job summary

Surbana Jurong seeks a Train Operation Engineer to support the planning and implementation of the MMSP train operations. The role involves ongoing technical support for train operation matters and gradually taking on greater responsibilities through knowledge transfer from the Train Operation Expert.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Railway or related engineering fields and are fluent in English for effective communication with the project team.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Railway/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Transportation Engineering or related discipline; Master’s degree an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English, with ability to coordinate across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for rail operations management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing MMSP Train Operation Plan and Interoperation Plan with coordination of inputs under guidance.
• Provide technical input for O&M deliverables and commercial operation readiness.
• Offer continuing technical support on train operation from pre-operation through year one of MMSP interoperation.
• Develop and transfer specialist knowledge to enhance operation readiness and integration.
• Perform other duties to ensure successful delivery of consulting services.
