MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

Responsible for performing imaging procedures (X-ray, Ultrasound, and Mammography) and encoding them correctly and accordingly. Delivers precise and accurate as well as on-time imaging results to the patients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Schedules and prepares patient for x-ray/ultrasound/mammogram exams.
  2. Performs imaging procedures either as part of PME packages or per doctor’s request.
  3. Issues approval to imaging request as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment.
  4. Assists doctors in the conduct of ultrasound procedures.
  5. Prepares images of x-ray/ultrasound/mammogram for doctor’s reading and encodes them accordingly.
  6. Maintains and performs regular inspection on all imaging equipment.
  7. Monitors and ensures that imaging equipment/machines undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled.
  8. Manages and ensures efficient disposal of various waste materials.
  9. Maintains records of all daily imaging procedures and prepares daily reports.
  10. Prepares and submits timely reports.
  11. Receives and records transmitted results.
  12. Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies.
  13. Performs other related tasks assigned by Supervisor as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Education: Graduate of BS Radiologic Technology and Radiologic Licensure Exam Passer
  2. Experience: At least 1 year experience performing the same/similar task
  3. Other Skills: Average communication skills. Skilled in Ultrasound/2D-Echo.
