Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Reviews imaging requests and identifies the patient.
• Instructs patient on preparation for procedures.
• Performs radiologic procedures following quality standards.
• Develops and processes imaging results.
• Forward imaging results to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and cleans after use.
• Collects hazardous and non-hazardous waste as required.
• Performs related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Files radiographs and x-ray results appropriately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment.
• Reviews request for imaging study and obtains patient's identification.
• Instructs patient and relative on the preparation for the procedure.
• Performs assigned radiologic procedures following quality standards.
• Develops and processes imaging results.
• Forwards imaging results to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Cleans and maintains assigned imaging equipment.
• Collects hazardous and non-hazardous waste accordingly.
• Performs other related function as maybe assigned by the superior.
• Files radiographs and x-ray results properly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Radiologic Technologist License/Certification is required
