Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Finance professional to process, analyze and report on financial metrics, and assist in outlook, forecast and budgeting processes. You will perform assigned financial reporting, analyze data, and prepare reports for decision making.

The role requires 4–5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with ERP systems like Oracle or Blackline is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses.
  • 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and procedures.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Blackline is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Process, analyze, and prepare reports on financial metrics periodically.
  • Assist in the preparation of outlook, forecast and budgeting process.
  • Provide analyses of financial data and preparation of reports.
  • Support month-end processes with SG&A cost analyses and accrual summaries.
  • Maintain SOP/DTP and update documentation as required.
  • Participate in audit-related activities and process improvements.

Job Description

This role will primarily be responsible to process, analyze and prepare reports on financial metrics periodically and assist in the preparation of outlook, forecast and budgeting process.

  • Perform assigned financial reporting requirements by providing analyses of financial data and preparation of reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual plan and budget.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly P&L forecasts & budget reporting
  • Assist in month-end processes by providing SG&A cost analyses and expense accrual summary reports
  • Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely. May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.
  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
  • Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
  • Propose alternatives in identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
  • Contribute in various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
  • Participate in audit-related activities.
  • Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Team Lead and Manager.
Qualifications

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Working knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls.
  • Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage or other similar platforms and tools
