Job summary

AECOM in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst to process, analyze and report on financial metrics, supporting outlooks, forecasts and budgeting processes. The role involves data preparation, monthly P&L forecasting, and month-end SG&A analyses to drive accurate financial insights.

Onboard employees attend Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams across global infrastructure projects, applying MS Office skills, ERP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls

Responsibilities

  • Perform data preparation and analysis on management report packages
  • Support in the preparation of monthly P&L forecasts & budget reporting
  • Assist in month-end processes by providing SG&A cost analyses and expense accrual summary reports
  • Escalate and analyze identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution
  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required
  • Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreement and procedures
  • Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigation and resolution of recurring issues
  • Support simple process improvement initiatives across assigned projects

Job Description

This role will primarily be responsible to process, analyze and prepare reports on financial metrics periodically and assist in the preparation of outlook, forecast and budgeting process.

  • Perform data preparation and analysis on management report packages
  • Support in the preparation of monthly P&L forecasts & budget reporting
  • Assist in month-end processes by providing SG&A cost analyses and expense accrual summary reports
  • Escalate and analyze identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.
  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
  • Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving common and recurring issues.
  • Support selected simple process improvement initiatives to streamline processes.ertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Team Lead and Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses
  • 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Working knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls.
  • Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage, but is not required.
