Job summary

Marigold Manufacturing Corporation in Pasig on-site is seeking an R&D/Product Development assistant with no experience required for a full-time role. The position focuses on testing, documentation, and trials to help launch new SKUs and enhance existing products.

Responsibilities include researching product classifications, evaluating raw and packaging materials for safety and quality, and preparing technical documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field
• With at least one or two years of experience in food manufacturing industry specific to product development and marketing
• With background in retort operations, thermal processing is required
• Has knowledge in different product development approaches and procedures and has passion about food preparations. Specifically, the background for thermal processing, meat processing, and retort operations is an advantage
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn
• Amenable to work in Pasig City

Responsibilities

• Assist in new product and SKU development, material and process improvements
• Conduct research on product classifications, applications, and regulatory standards
• Evaluate raw and packaging materials based on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Conduct sensory evaluations and prepare technical documentation
• Support validation of CCPs and OPRPs in line with HACCP & FSSC 22000
• Prepare FDA registration documents and samples
