Job summary

Private Advertiser in Cebu City is seeking a Research Associate to support daily R&D operations in our food production environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, R&D, or QA is preferred.
• Fresh graduates of BS Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of food safety, food regulations, quality assurance, and laboratory procedures.
• Experience or training in GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Sensory Evaluation, or GLP is an advantage.
• Good communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of experimental design and laboratory testing procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare materials, equipment, and schedules for laboratory trials and experiments.
• Conduct laboratory experiments under the supervision of the Lead Researcher.
• Prepare and evaluate raw material samples through tests including soup, hydration, gel, and cook tests.
• Assist in sensory evaluations and accurately record results and observations.
• Assist in Batch Trial Runs (BTR) and Production Trial Runs (PTR), including preparation, sample collection, and data gathering.
• Prepare samples for sensory evaluation and shelf-life studies.
• Maintain accurate records, logbooks, reports, and documentation related to experiments and raw materials.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Spice, Meat, and other departments to support trial activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior R&D team members.]
