Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer.
• With 2-3 years of working experience in construction operations, including procurement, bid evaluation, quantity surveying, and cost engineering works.
• Familiar with engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati, Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports directly to the QSD Head and assists the QSD MEPFS Supervisor and Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Coordinates with and seeks advice from the QSD Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Assists and may be tasked to directly handle and monitor specific projects, coordinating with external CMs for bidding and awarding activities to ensure timely actions.
• Ensures scope of works are comprehensive and appropriate for each Contract Package.
• Reviews and validates Bidding and Awarding Schedules submitted by External CMs.
• Coordinates with CMD Teams and external CMS for project schedules, status, conflicts, progress, and potential issues.
• Estimates work items based on approved drawings, field conditions, and specifications.
• Prepares bidder lists, cost estimates, and evaluates proposals for review and validation.
• Reviews and monitors the issuance of documents from Consultants and drawings, assessing their impact on Contract Packages.
• Assists in collating documents to support claims.
• Prepares drafts of RTNs, RTAs, and award details.
• Validates contractor billings and endorses for finalization.
• Prepares budgets, cost reports, cash flows, and projections.
• Prepares permit requirements as needed.
• Reviews change orders and endorses for comments.
• Coordinates with CMD Teams on project concerns.
• Maintains organized files related to QSD tasks.
• Performs site visits and other duties as assigned.
