Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME/CE); license is an advantage.
• Experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, contract management, procurement, or project controls.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software; knowledge of construction methods and codes.
• Experience in cold storage or related projects; strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates focusing on plumbing, fire pro, HVAC and CSA works.
• Review construction drawings and specifications for cost and quantity verification
• Prepare bid evaluations, comparative cost analyses, and procurement support documents.
• Monitor project costs and budget utilization.
• Prepare and evaluate progress billings
• Assess and process variation orders, change orders, and additional works.
• Coordinate with office personnel, project manager, site engineers, contractors, and suppliers regarding cost-related matters.
• Maintain cost records and prepare project cost reports.
• Assist in contract administration and project close-out documentation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced in construction and quantity surveying/ cost engineering/ construction cost control
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably ME or CE. License is an advantage.
• Training in quantity surveying, cost estimation, contract management, procurement, or project controls is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel,PlanSwift/estimating softwares; knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, & applicable building codes.
• Experienced in cold storage or related projects; strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
