Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated quality inspector for onsite work at First Philippine Industrial Park, Tanauan. The role focuses on inspecting parts and materials, verifying conformance to drawings, and supporting First Article Inspections and QA processes.

You will compare received items to procurement data, document inspection results, and help develop standards and acceptance criteria while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data to ensure order accuracy.
• Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformance to specifications.
• Examines items for defects in materials and damage during transit.
• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation according to drawings and standards.
• Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
• Approves or rejects items and records inspection results.
• Gathers data for preparation of technical reports.
• Gathers data to prepare inspection plans, standards and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.
• Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications.
• Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
• Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
• Gathers data for preparation of technical reports.
• Gathers data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions.
