Job summary

RTX, a global aerospace and defense leader, seeks an on-site Quality Inspector to join our Collins Aerospace operations in the Philippines. You will ensure parts and materials meet specifications, perform first article inspections, and record disposition information to support zero-defect manufacturing.

Key tasks include comparing quantities and part numbers, inspecting conformance to prints, documenting inspection results, and assisting in the development of test plans and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Compares quantities and part numbers of received items with procurement data to ensure order accuracy.
• Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.
• Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and function per prints and specs.
• Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
• Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
• Gathers data for preparation of technical reports.
• Gathers data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions.

• Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
