Job summary

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd is seeking a quality engineer to manage quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive CAPA across engineering teams. You will collaborate with Process Engineering and cross-functional groups to resolve issues and foster continuous improvement.

You will lead process optimisation using DOE, JMP, SPC and FMEA, and support ISO/IATF 16949 audits by analysing data and implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Semiconductor quality experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of DOE, JMP, SPC, FMEA and 8D.
• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, hands-on and results-oriented team player.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality issues, including root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA and corrective/preventive actions.
• Partner with Process Engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead process optimisation, benchmarking and data-driven quality improvement using DOE, JMP, SPC and FMEA.
• Support customer and external audits in accordance with ISO / IATF 16949 requirements.
• Analyse quality data, identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Support overseas customer/site activities and quality investigations.
