Job summary

Continental is seeking an IT Consultant in the Quality & ESH IT area to drive digital transformation and ensure operational excellence through effective IT solutions.

You will lead IT implementation projects (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid), manage budgets and risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, develop stakeholder plans, and ensure governance and compliance across Quality applications.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or related field.
• Several years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects and external service providers.
• Many years in IT application operations and project delivery.
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools.
• Experience with Quality applications is a strong advantage, especially SFDC.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams including business, IT, legal and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT implementation projects (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) within the Quality IT.
• Plan, execute, and deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within budget.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues through proactive management.
• Lead project teams and foster teamwork.
• Develop and execute stakeholder communication plans for transparency and alignment.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Be the IT partner of choice for business customers by providing technical consulting and best-fit IT solutions.
• Oversee operation, performance, and compliance of Quality applications for availability and cost-efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage application lifecycle and support.
• Build relationships with internal IT and user groups to co-create strategic solutions.
