Job description

The Software Engineer Intern assumes the role of a programmer, which involves assisting in the design and implementation of Edusuite.

Qualifications

• A college student enrolled in any IT, computer science-related courses
• Knowledge of software testing
• Knowledge of Test Management is a plus
• Knowledge of automated testing and testing tools (e.g. Selenium Java, JMeter, Postman, etc.)
• Knowledge in Wireframing or Business Analysis
• Passion for technology and for being a part of a fast-growing AI Edtech startup
• Great communication skills; has the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently (both verbal and written)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• An individual contributor and team player
• Minimum required number of hours must be 600 hours

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in aiding requirements gathered and wireframed for feature designs.
• Support the software development team in defining and testing features.
• Understand and develop automated tests using appropriate testing tools.
• Create and maintain system documentation in the form of (but not limited to) Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams, etc.
• Verifies that work produced meets elicited requirements through test plan/test case development and execution.
• Anticipates current and future issues and develop plans and actions to minimize the negative impact.
• Develop and deliver world-class support experience.
• Understand and help manage testing workflows, processes, and activities.
• Reviews and helps maintain the quality of work of other QE team members.
