Job summary

CHEQ Software Testing in Makati, Metro Manila, seeks a QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests across functional, integration, API, and performance areas.

You will contribute to test frameworks, manage test data, track defects, and report clear quality metrics while collaborating with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related four-year course
• :Minimum 4 years in Software Testing/QA/Quality Engineering
• :Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum
• :Programming/scripting in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, C#, or equivalent
• :Experience building automated test frameworks, API automation, and performance testing
• :Experience testing Web, Mobile, Enterprise, Cloud apps
• :Familiarity with CI/CD, automation execution, and Git workflows
• :Knowledge of SQL and data validation
• :Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
• :Knowledge of AI concepts and ability to validate AI outputs (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for Functional, Integration, Regression, API, and Performance testing
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks, scripts, and regression suites
• Analyze requirements to identify test conditions, risks, and coverage gaps
• Prepare, manage, and maintain test environments and test data
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, product owners, and client stakeholders to ensure quality
• Provide accurate test status reports, metrics, and recommendations
• Support continuous quality engineering throughout the SDLC
