Job summary
Advanced Energy is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support manufacturing quality operations. You will monitor process performance, analyze data, and assist in resolving quality issues to maintain high product quality and yield.
The role involves sustaining quality standards, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with the Quality Engineer to drive containment, CAPA, and audit readiness on the production floor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality.
- Basic knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (8D/RCCA).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and teamwork.
- Willing to work onsite in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze production quality data to identify trends and issues.
- Support investigation of in-process and customer quality issues with data gathering.
- Assist in containment actions and verify effectiveness on the floor.
- Review and maintain quality-related documentation (APQs, MRB, ECO, etc.).
- Support audits and ensure adherence to TL9000/ISO standards.
- Assist in NPI and product transfer activities, including qualification reporting.
- Track test yields and provide data to support yield improvement.
