Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to drive manufacturing quality performance through data analysis, corrective actions, and process control. The role partners with cross-functional teams to support NPI, product transfer, and improvements in yield and overall product quality.

You will review quality plans, participate in MRB/ECO processes, and lead efforts to resolve issues while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
3–5 years in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality, electronics/semiconductor focus preferred.
Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA, SPC, FMEA, MSA).
Experience supporting NPI, product transfer, and manufacturing operations, incl. process qualification and yield improvement.
Strong data analysis, quality reporting, and ability to drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Analyze quality data and initiate corrective actions.
Lead Yield/OATF and QIP meetings.
Review Purging Notice, MRB, RMA, ECO, ePBR, LRS, and WIS.
Raise Stop Build/Ship Notice for in-process issues.
Follow up root-cause analysis and containment actions for Hold Shipment Notices.
Prepare regular quality reports (Yield/OATF) and related reports.
Support NPI handover to Masspro line; review quality plans and deliverables.
Assist transfer teams in product qualification from other sites.
Monitor transfer progress and generate transfer qualification reports.
Analyze burn-in test yield to reduce burn-in time.
