Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Quality Control Engineer to oversee the quality assurance of production changes related to our organization's IT Operations team that consist of Network Infrastructure, Systems Operations, Automation, and Digital Communication platforms. This role is critical in ensuring that all changes meet rigorous performance, reliability, and security standards before deployment, helping to maintain uninterrupted services across our enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce quality control processes for production changes affecting Global Network, Infrastructure Systems, and Digital Communications (phones, fax, email, and chat).
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and IT operations teams to review proposed changes and evaluate associated risks.
• Design and execute test plans, validation protocols, and rollback procedures to support safe and effective deployment.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents or failed changes and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor post-deployment performance to validate successful implementation and mitigate unforeseen issues.
• Maintain documentation of quality assurance checks, test results, and change approvals.
• Participate in change advisory board (CAB) meetings to represent quality control interests or areas of concern/risk.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SLAs, and industry best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO 9001).
• Automate and/or manual quality assurance testing and integrate QA checkpoints into CI/CD pipelines where appropriate.
• Provide regular reporting on quality metrics and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Amenable to report onsite and in the night shift in Clark, Pampanga.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or
• 3+ years of experience in a QA, quality control, or systems engineering role, preferably in a network or communications environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including LAN/WAN, servers, cloud services, and VoIP or messaging systems.
• Experience with change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and quality standards.
• Skills in scripting, automation, or QA tools (e.g., Jenkins, Selenium, QualityTest, SilkTest, Ansible, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring operational excellence.
