Job summary

YSS Laboratories Co., Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and stability samples using approved methods, ensuring cGMP and GLP compliance to produce accurate data for product release.

The role involves handling wet chemistry, dissolution testing, calibration of instruments, proper storage and disposal of chemicals, and supporting investigations and audits.

Qualifications

• Preferably a licensed Chemist, Pharmacist, or Chemical Technician
• Above-average analytical and critical thinking skills
• Above-average mathematical skills
• With basic knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complies with cGMP, GLP, GDocP, SOPs, safety protocols, and maintains accurate and timely documentation and data integrity.
• Conducts wet chemistry, dissolution, and other analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples using approved methods.
• Prepares reagents and standards, operates analytical instruments, performs routine calibration and performance checks, and assists with troubleshooting and equipment qualification.
• Ensures proper handling, storage, inventory, and disposal of laboratory materials, chemicals, regulated substances, and waste while maintaining laboratory cleanliness and environmental conditions.
• Assists in OOS/OOT investigations, audits, cross-functional activities, training, product release, cost containment, and other QC-related duties as assigned
