Job summary

McDonald’s Philippines (Golden Arches Development Corporation) is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to uphold food safety and quality across the network, aligning with McDonald’s Global Standards and local regulations.

You will lead programs, train staff, audit suppliers, and collaborate with internal teams and regulators to ensure top-notch safety and compliance. Willingness to travel nationwide to conduct restaurant support visits is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• With prior work experience in Manufacturing or Food Service industries as QA.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Sensory Evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, auditing, and quality management systems.
• Experience in training facilitation and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel nationwide to conduct restaurant support visits.

Responsibilities

• Food Safety & Quality Compliance Management: Ensure food safety and quality compliance by managing food safety programs in line with McDonald’s Global Standards and local regulations.
• Food Safety Program Leadership & Implementation: Lead key food safety initiatives including Water Safety Management, Cleaning and Sanitation Programs, and Digital Food Safety Implementation.
• Food Safety Training and Audit: Conduct food safety training and audits for restaurants and suppliers to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Supplier Quality Assurance & Compliance Support: Support supplier quality management by assisting in compliance validation, internal audits, and supplier engagement activities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to align on food safety standards and best practices.
