Job summary

TE is seeking a Quality Manager in the Philippines to lead the Quality Control department, shape policies, and ensure products meet customer and regulatory standards. You will oversee audits, supplier quality, CAPA, and cost controls while driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a strong track record in quality management, bilingual communication, and budgeting experience to align with corporate standards and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in quality, incl. 2 years of people management.
• Bachelor's degree, major in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control department, including workforce planning, coaching and succession planning.
• Drive compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and implement quality policies, procedures and cost controls; manage departmental budgets and work plans.
• Oversee quality control activities including deviations, audits, supplier quality management and risk assessments; drive CAPA and prevent recurrence of defects.
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs and Six Sigma initiatives; lead cross-functional problem-solving for quality issues.
• Monitor and report key quality and operational metrics; collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize processes and achieve goals.
