Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Bulacan is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality assurance activities in a manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and a bachelor's degree in engineering. Responsibilities

• Supervises quality assurance activities plant-wide.
• Review quality control reports for improvements.
• Coordinates with other departments regarding quality and process.
• Monitors QA Lead personnel and inspectors; ensures performance according to KPIs.
• Conducts daily meetings to discuss highlights, root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Analyzes monitoring reports and submits summaries to Operations Manager weekly.
• Reviews inspection reports and non-conformance reports; implements corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensures Good Housekeeping and conducts supplier audits on a yearly basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervises quality assurance activities plant wide with regards to:
• a. Incoming Material inspection
• b. In-process inspection
• c. Finished goods inspection
• d. Outgoing inspection
• Review quality control reports and recommends necessary improvements or corrective actions to the Operations Manager.
• Coordinates with other department regarding quality/process and recommends proper corrective actions to Plant Manager and Operations Manager.
• Supervises and monitors QA Leadman/Leadlady, QA Inspectors, QA Final Inspectors, and Process Engineer performance.
• Perform assigned task from time to time.
• Validates and confirms standards for quality evaluation.
• Appraise immediate subordinates semi-annually base on the Key Performance Indicator and completeness of special assigned tasks.
• Conducts and initiates daily meeting to discuss activity highlights, recurring problems, root cause analysis, and preventive measurements.
• Analyze and submits summary of monitoring reports of Quality Assurance Department to Operations Manager in a weekly basis.
• Supervise and monitor daily duties and responsibilities of immediate subordinates.
• Review and analyze Inspection Reports, Sampling Evaluation Report, Non-conformance Report, and Customer Complain and established Corrective and Preventive Action Plan and Risk Management.
• Reviews and approves Department generated reports.
• Coordinates other Department regarding quality and process concern to discuss the necessary corrective actions.
• Monitor Good Housekeeping through Audit System.
• Conducts Suppliers Audit through plant visit in a yearly basis.
• Conducts training and seminars to immediate subordinates to review, validate, and confirm standard for quality evaluation, standard operating procedure, and alignment of inspection.
• Review and validate the process flow of department to strengthen the quality objectives.
• Participates in company activities and supports Vision and Mission of the company.
